Urbano 12 introduces full support for measurement units!
Until now, Urbano used fixed, hardcoded units for each data, which sometimes led to inconsistencies — for example, flow could appear in liters per second in one part of the software and in cubic meters per second in another.
This has now been unified. A new central dialog allows users to define and manage all measurement units across the entire software.
The dialog contains two tabs:
The first tab groups data into logical groups such as Length, Elevation, Depth, Area, Volume, Flow, Velocity, Pressure, and more. A preferred unit can be easily set for each group from a dropdown list, and changes are automatically reflected throughout the entire model after redrawing — no recalculation or restarting required.
The second tab provides a complete overview of all units used in Urbano. Here, users can edit suffixes and choose where they appear — in data tables, data table headers, property grid dialogs, and plan labels.
Custom unit configurations can be saved and reused for future projects. In addition to the metric system, Urbano 12 now supports US imperial units, making the software fully ready for the American market as well!
