We’ve made several important updates to ensure full compliance with the IFC 4.3 standard for pipe networks (pipes and manholes) and terrain surfaces.
🔹 The file structure and element hierarchy have been updated to match the IFC 4.3 standard.
🔹 Urbano IFC is now fully compatible with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and other Autodesk and non-Autodesk software.
🔹 Geometry export to the IFC file has been optimized, resulting in significantly smaller file sizes.
🔹 Coordinate systems are now supported.
🔹 By default, each system and DTM surface is exported to its own IFC file, with an option to export everything to a single file if preferred.
We’ve also improved the project base point function. In addition to defining X and Y coordinates, you can now define the Z coordinate as well. Setting a project base point is now mandatory—if you don’t set one manually, the software will automatically use the coordinates of the first node in the system. Setting the base point close to the network helps eliminate high-coordinate issues like distorted graphics.
