Workflow examples with EPANET and Urbano Hydra working on Autodesk Civil 3D

We will showcase three examples that integrate EPANET with Urbano Hydra into a coherent workflow, from creating a digital terrain model and designing the water supply network to pipe sizing and using hydraulic modeling results in the final desing.
The presented workflows include:
1. Designing a water supply network
Creating a DTM, multiple functions for network design, designing long sections and pipe inverts, data entry (mud release valves, air release valves, manholes, trenches), determining cross sections and excavation volumes, setting water demands, hydraulic calculation with the EPANET engine, analysis, applying a 3D style and exporting to IFC.
2. Pipe sizing and water demands scenarios
Automated pipe sizing procedure, adding pressure reducing valves, developing multiple water demands scenarios, working with pumps and time patterns, EPANET simulation and importing results to Urbano.
3. Data exchange with the EPANET INP file
Data import from INP, network overview, hydraulic calculation by branches, data analysis.
