New Urbano 10 is here!
We are very excited because after more than 2 years of development,our next major release of Urbano, version 10, is finished. As always, the new major
release brings a lot of new functionality. Urbano 10 is combination of brand
new functions and significantly improved existing functionality. Our
development follows wishes from our big customer base, respects new trends and
technologies and brings to life our own vision of modern and versatile
application for designing and analyzing of pipe infrastructure.
We are impatient to show you completely renewed module
for clashing, water distribution modelling, automatic creation of water
distribution node schemes, new BIM features and many more.
Main new features in Urbano 10:
New intersection analysis
Intersection analysis has been redesigned. New
panel was added with all functions related to intersections. Intersection
analysis is now performed in 3D which allows detecting intersections between
pipes and manholes. All intersections are now completely dynamic – any action
in plan or profiles is automatically reflected in the whole model. New
functions include new intersection previews, automatic labels, system selection
functionality, intersection reports…
Hydraulic modelling in Hydra
New functions have been added that enable
hydraulic modeling and time simulation of water distribution networks. Time dependent
data previews and graphs were added, which allow better and more intuitive
analysis of time simulation results. We also added option to create rules
allowing you to control various time dependent parameters of the model. For
better analysis of the model, time dependent labels and head elevation lines
were added in plan and profiles.
Automatic drawing of node assembly
schemes in Hydra
New function for automatic drawing of node
assembly schemes allows you to quickly draw large number of node schemes. New
set of tools for assigning of valves and fire hydrants was added. Node schemes
are calculated according to set of material-based connection rules which can be
modified. Functions for previewing and interactive editing were added. Each
node scheme has its own quantity take-off. Total quantity take-off for the
whole project can be created very quickly.
New and improved flow and hydraulic
calculations in Canalis
Flow and hydraulic calculation functions have
been redesigned. New algorithm for pipe sizing supports sizing of closed
rectangular channels. Pipe sizing options now allow definition of maximum fill
percentage according to resulting pipe diameters. New concept for flow
calculation allows you to create various flow scenarios. This allows you to run
parallel hydraulic calculations and compare results of various scenarios by
using special data tables.
